Star awards are based off a point system that allows you to earn points for doing different activities on the NECO website. For each 1,000 points you earn you receive a star. Once you receive five stars you are able to cash them in for a rain barrel or native plants for a rain garden. You can receive points for doing activities such as: "liking practices", logging into your account, mapping a practice, adding photos and descriptions to your practice, updating your profile, adding events, and many more.

You can always keep track of your star awards in the upper right hand corner of the home page. When you reach five stars, we will send you a notice that you can use to redeem your award points.
